Áine is having continuing issues with her kidneys and her sodium levels. Some progress made over the weekend and then a few steps back today.
She remains on a two week course of double antibiotics and had a PICC line put in last week which she will go home with should we ever get out of here.
She remains on oxygen and has a catheter and is only allowed six ounces of formula per shift. She was quite giggly for Dad over the weekend, but is exceptionally tired from a serious lack of sleep.
Neurosurgery and neurology are ready to discharge her any time. We just need to get a handle on the metabolic situation.
Áine remains her cute, sweet self, but it would be so nice to be home.
Thank you for the Pixie's update. The last picture had us concerned. I think of her often and miss all you greatly.
