Girls (and Dads) Just Wanna Have Fun!

Ciara and Dad got their 80s on at the Father-Daughter Dinner Dance at Alverno on Friday.
The girls had a Vogue Contest while the Dads danced to Thriller.
A good time was had by all.

Áine Clare Madigan, you rock!

One year ago this morning, Áine underwent her hemispherectomy re-do at UCLA.
(Later this year will mark the 10 year anniversary of her first hemi!)

After the three week stint in the PICU, you have become Áine Clare squared as Momma likes to say.  Áine intensified!  You are funny, social, adorable, sassy, smart, enthusiastic, and all-around awesome!  Seizures returned in November 2012, but not with the same frequency and they have yet to diminish your spectacularness!

Love you, love you, sweet baby girl!  Keep fighting  like a girl, you epilepsy warrior!
