My boy

Brendan is having a rough go of it lately. He is averaging 2-3 major panic attacks per day and is having several depressive episodes a day. His panic attack was so extreme today he had to leave his beloved job early. We are hoping to get in to see his neuropsych sooner than later.

Just asking for some extra prayers my boy's way.

3 weeks post-op

Áine Clare is moving along in her recovery.
She still sleeps a lot and is pretty weak, but when she's awake she is a happy girl. She is sitting up okay before gracefully falling to the side when she tires. Walking is a challenge, but she keeps trying!

A Spontaneous Move

Ciara went with Mom today for Mom's haircut and some errands. Instead, Ciara got the urge to cut off her hair and it's so cute! BIG change for her! I know she will rock it with her collection of fascinators and flowers.

Look Who's Home

Miss Áine Clare was discharged first thing this morning.
Happy girl!

Day 14 - Club Med UCLA

No oxygen. Yay!
No catheter. Yay!
Better sodium levels. Yay!
At this morning's PICU rounds, the team felt that Áine could be discharged in the next day or two depending on how she handles the sodium issue on her own.

Of course she wants nothing to do with her formula, but Momma won't let that keep us here!
Who doesn't eat better once home?
