Our New Family!

Last night was the Registration Celebration
at Alverno High School
for the Class of 2016!

As we entered the Villa, this is what greeted us...



It was a beautiful, welcoming, inviting, empowering evening for Ciara and Mom and Dad.
From the opening prayer for students and parents and the lighting of candles to the closing balloon drop after singing the alma mater, the night was well planned, thoughtful, and informative. As an alum, it was wonderful to be home.

After the opening prayer, Ciara leaned over and said to us "When is graduation again?" This girl is ready to embark on her high school experience!

The girls who had been awarded scholarships and who earned honors at entrance were called forward by name to receive their certificates and first blazer pin. Very exciting. Ciara also received a Christian service award. Go, Ciara!

These 4 years will fly by and we plan to enjoy every blessed minute!

6 week (+) post-op visit

Miss Áine Clare in her Bruin gold and blue waiting to see her neurosurgeon.

Áine and Dr. Gary Mathern.

Dr. Mathern was happy to hear that Áine has been seizure-free since surgery. He was also glad to hear that she is more alert and aware of her surroundings. She is good to go!
Her next visit with Dr. Mathern will be her 6 month post-op in July and she will also have an MRI then as well.
