And yet another doctor visit...

No one should enjoy the doctor's office as much as Áine does. Although her pediatrician does rock, I rather share Brendan's feelings on the matter.
 

 

 

Morning Teacher

Brendan's teacher texted me this picture the other day.

Apparently he starts every day at school by sitting at his teacher's desk and going over the schedule for the day.  (This is, of course, after he has checked the home calendars before getting on the bus.)  After giving his stamp of approval, the day begins.

A Day at CHLA

I SO wish I could rock hospital jammies the way Áine does.
Her oral surgery went well although her tooth is still chipped and her she is still grinding her teeth.
The important thing is that she is pain-free! Yay!
 

 

 

Brendan and the Queen (of sorts)

Brendan went on a field trip to the Queen Mary today followed by a visit to Long Beach Shoreline Village. He has never been to the Queen Mary, but loves Shoreline Village.

He chose to buy some animals (of course!) with his money.

What a beautiful day to be by the water.


 

 

 

Because it's been a while...

Some "lasts" before some new beginnings.

Brendan attended his last "Day of Dreams" this week.  This is one of his favorite days of the year sponsored by Orange Lutheran High School.  I know this will be one of the things he misses the most when he leaves Speech &  Language Development Center in June.

Mom and Dad attended Ciara's last International Day today.  The 8th graders closed the show with "It's A Small World".  Miss Ciara and her friends represented China.  We think she looks adorable!  Yay, Ciara!

May Crowning

Today was the Crowning of Mary at Ciara' school.  The 8th graders are the  main participants.  Here is my happy girl before she heads out to school.
