A Day at the Beach
Today Brendan went on a field trip with his class to clean up Seal Beach. His teacher sent the following pictures, which I can't seem to get in the right order. She said that Brendan kept saying, "beach - swimming - shorts". Poor boy wanted to go swimming :o( Not only was it a little too chilly in the OC for that today, it wasn't part of the trip. Looks like Mom will have to bite the bullet and take the boy to the beach during his Spring Break next month. (If there was only some way to do that and bypass the sand...)

Okay, Mom you surely didn't think you could get by with this outing as a beach (beach, swimming, shorts) trip??!!! He looks so happy! Love that boy!
What a great opportunity for some fresh air, fun, and community service. I'm glad he had a good time. I have to agree with him that a trip to the beach without a little water time is just madness! On the flip side I hear ya about the sand.lol
