In a miraculous turn of events, Brendan was released from the hospital today. He is very tired and rather weak but has been cleared to return to school mid-week next week and can return to swimming and physical activity after the 28th.
He's such a brave boy.
Thank you to my dear friends for the supportive texts, emails, and phone messages. It's amazing how much they heal a hurting heart.

I am so happy to hear that Brendan is home where he belongs. What a tough guy he is to endure all he has these last few days. He really is a star! So happy for you and the family!

Alexia - Just checked your blog to see how you all were doing - so sorry to hear about this past week! I'm glad Brendan is recovering. As always, you are in my prayers but especially now for Brendan's speedy and full recovery.
